It’s been a time of self reflection for me lately. I’ve been trying to pinpoint this nagging feeling on my heart. It’s beyond hard to be a working mother and maintain a photography business on the side. Finding the time to volunteer is even harder, but giving back to others brings me such joy and I can’t ever forget that. Sadly, it’s been a year since I’ve been to The Protective Animal Welfare Society (KC PAWS). My heart has been pulling me back and I am so glad I listened. I am refreshed and reminded that one of my purposes on earth is to help dogs find their forever family by capturing their souls on camera.
“I’m not sure what it is about your photography but I want to take them all home! I think it’s because you do such a great job of capturing their true spirit!”
It’s quotes like the above that keep me going and softly remind me the importance and impact of a professional photo.
KC PAWS was formed in 2007 with the determination of working with animals in need. They specialize in working with animals who are the victims of abuse. They work in connection with local City and State agency’s to help investigate and report cases of cruelty and neglect as well as providing education and resources to the community on how to properly care for their animals. All dogs adopted from KC PAWS come with 6 months of free day care at A Dog’s Fun Playce (a $2,700 value). All dogs adopted will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered prior to their release. If you are interested in any of these dogs below, please click here to fill out an online application. Please spread the word to others and promote adoption!
