Even after 20 years behind the camera, I’m still exploring new ideas and having fun with it! Lately, I’ve been experimenting with bold, colorful backdrops in my home studio—starting with bright blue and now this rich gold/mustard tone. I was unsure about it at first, but it’s surprisingly stunning—especially on pups with darker fur!
Grady is quickly following in Remington’s pawsteps and learning to model like a pro, which makes testing new setups even more fun.
On the tech side, I just upgraded to a brand new MacBook Pro and the 2025 Photoshop + Lightroom software, so things are looking extra sharp around here.
Don’t worry, you aren’t seeing double! If you can’t decide what color backdrop to choose for your pet at the time of session, just select a simple white backdrop – and I can change the color of your backdrop digitally. What colors did I miss? Every dog is unique and certain colors might compliment their fur better.
